2024 – 2025 CALENDAR

Adventurer Mission

The mission of the Adventurer Club ministry is to serve an intercultural community of children from pre-kindergarten through fourth grade and their parents or guardians and assist Adventurer families in growing as followers of Jesus.

Adventurer Club Meetings

Adventurer Club meeting are where all the action happens. Kids and their parents play games; make crafts; perform skits; sing songs; learn about nature, health, and their world… and lots of other fun and interesting activities.

Adventurers need to bring their Bibles and Activity Books to every meeting.
Adventurers need to wear their Dress Uniform to Sabbath meetings.
The field uniform can be worn to all other meetings and activities.

OPENING PROGRAM – 10 MINUTES Welcome Recite the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Recite the Texas Pledge Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible. Recite the Pledge to the Christian Flag I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag, and to the Savior for whose Kingdom it stands; one Savior, crucified, risen, and coming again with life and liberty to all who believe. Recite the Pledge to the Bible I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God’s holy word, I will make it a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path and will hide its words in my heart so I might not sin against God. Recite the Adventurer Pledge Because Jesus loves me, I will always do my best. Adventurer Club Curriculum

The Adventurer Club curriculum is designed for children in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. Curriculum requirements for each level are divided into five areas: Basic, My God, My Self, My Family, and My World. The curriculum is presented through interactive, themed lessons that help the children and their parents or guardians complete the Adventurer requirements and stars, chips, and awards.

Adventurer Stars, Chips, and Awards

Stars, chips, and awards are fun ways for Adventurers to explore their world, learn skills, and be creative. When the requirements are completed, the Adventurer receives a patch that is proudly worn on his or her sash. Patches for Little Lambs are called stars, for Eager Beavers they are called chips, and for Busy Bees through Helping Hands they are called awards. In addition to patches that Adventurers earn during club meetings, there are many additional patches that parents and guardians can help their children earn at home.

Adventurer Parents and The Family Network

Parents/Guardians are members of the Adventurer Club and attend meetings with their children. They are expected to participate in the lessons and club activities. The Adventurer Club is not a “drop-off” program.

An important part of the Adventurer Club ministry is providing parents and guardians in our church, as well as our community, with a support network. The Family Network is an intentional way for the Adventurer Club and the church family to provide support and training on parenting topics to parents and guardians.

Adventurer Bible Game

The Adventurer Bible Game is the Official North American Division Adventurer Bible learning program. The program is created to challenge older adventurers to use their reading skills and their amazing ability to memorize the Bible.

It is intended to be a family-based activity with parents and Adventurers studying and playing together. Each year new passages of scripture are assigned (alternating Old Testament and New Testament) and excited Adventurers and their parents/caregivers commit themselves to study those passages of God’s Word.

Adventurer Club Logo

The Adventurer Club logo has been reinvented to illustrate that Adventurers is a Jesus centered, nature oriented, family focused Ministry.
